“Art flourishes where there is a sense of adventure.” Alfred North Whit
Lovely job. It'll be great to see the whole thing when done and stitched together. You're off to a wonderful start.
This is charming, Diana, and it nooo waaaay looks like a beginner's bead embroidery. I love the idea of snow-flowers and the layered fabrics from your stash. This is going to be a fabulous project. I know what a challenge it is, as I'm still working on the 12 blocks from 2011 that will also become a wall quilt. I hope for both of us that it turns out to be one of the best things we've ever made. I look forward to seeing your next piece!!!!
Go for it, Diana. It sounds a lovely project and, as I said before, your January piece is delightful.
Beautifully icy, Diana! It makes me cold and happy both at the same time :-)
I clicked on your photos and was treated to a journey thru a winter fantasy! Such lovely soft colors and bead choices, both as accents and as elements in the design. I'm inspired!
Great texture. I agree with Cyndi "beautifully icy." Well done.
