Alphabet Wednesday

It's time for the letter 'Q' on Alphabet Wednesday at Mrs. Nesbitt's place.

This was a tough one for me. I didn't want to go for the normal Q's of Quarter and Quart size, but I did find a couple items I liked.

First are my Quartz stones that sparkle so pretty when the sun hits them.

The amber one turned out good, but my clear-white quartz was hard to photograph because it looks so liquid. It's a pretty stone with lots of angles.
These are Q-tips !

The quartz is beautiful. I love to collect rocks but have never found anything this great!

I chose to use nearby Quadra Island for Q. It is a fun vacation destination that you can see by clicking here. – Margy

Hi Diana again,

I think I had bad experience as a kid with people poking things in my ear - someone asked what I used to clean my ears and I think the answer is water with a good jet in the shower - I might use my finger but I wouldn't poke a foreign object in there.

Maybe it is just a man thing - I like my women plain and untitivated not painted in thick creams and lipsticks and covered in perfume.

I prefer natural beauty (like the quartz).

Quartz - why didn't I think of that, I've got loads! We call Q tips cotton buds over here, so we wouldn't have thought of that for our Q's!

Well done and I hope you have a great time in Phoenix!

I could not for the life of me figure out what that brown "stuff" was until you told us.
