The Berea Grindstone Knitters Guild that I belong to had a table at Yarn Knits by Sue for our town's Heritage Days.
We rotated 2 hour sits at our table. We sold raffle tickets for the group afghan we knitted together - 20 out of the 38 members each knitting a square.
We also encouraged everyone that knits or wants to knit to join our group.
It's a fun bunch of women. The more I knit, the more I enjoy it.
