Ready, set, go

Tomorrow is the big day. The Cleveland Rite Aid Marathon! I'm running the 10K race portion. I don't feel as prepared this year as I was last year. Really didn't get as much outdoor running completed because mother nature would not co-operate. too much rain and cold this year. I didn't plan on winning anyway so it's not a total lost cause. I do it for health and fun. and I get a t-shirt out of it! I have a ton of pictures on my camera but haven't taken the time to down load them. As soon as I do I'll load up a bunch of them. I've been extremely busy lately. this whole weekend is planned out with barely a moment to rest. What happened to the slow weekends that used to be sooo relaxing ?

I took two weeks off, come back to read some favorite blogs of mine to see how everyone is doing and hear that Claire from Anna's World has fallen ill. Claire - I'm sending you wishes for a speedy recovery!! Get well soon!
I was back in Albany again for a bit. Hotel living and eating out added 3 pounds back on so it's back to the drawing board to start losing again. It's so easy to put weight on and sssoooooo darn hard to get rid of it!
Well, I missed everyone and I'm glad to be back. I got my new camera, I'll have a show and tell tomorrow with pics of it. It's pink! very fun.

Oh my gosh this was a busy week! I had some work people in from Albany which kept me very busy. Next week I go see them in Albany for a few days. Then my work travels should be over for awhile. phew.

All my foodie pictures were all the goodies I picked up at our open air market. The food is so fresh - I wash it all with FIT before they go into the fridge. That way, when I'm ready to eat, they are ready to be eaten. The only downfall to that is - the food doesn't last as long - I think it's because I'm washing all the preservatives off right away. So it's good to wash and it's bad to wash too soon.
The strawberries were great ! and Pam had a great idea to toss them into a salad. I ate them all before they had a chance to get in a salad - next time.

I've been getting up at 5:30 am 4 x /week to get to the gym. It's paying off - I lost 4 lbs in April. It's better than nothing! the pounds have been around for awhile and they're aren't too happy to leave.
